What a beautiful way of describing the significance and special character of a coaching conversation. Stop to all the deficits, assessed needs for development, deficiencies, problems…! Instead, and on the basis of a sophisticated, future focused technique of asking questions, I would like to offer you a precious room for exchange, reflection, solutions, options, self-determination and the strengthening of know-how already existing.

My Basic Coaching Approach

  • I take time with you to clarify your objective both for the overall coaching process and for the individual coaching session in detail.
  • In a review phase we look at your objectives and change goals and I listen very carefully.
  • In the change phase we discuss approaches to resolve your issues and concerns.
  • In the summary phase we check our results and discuss the next steps.

In doing so, I ask questions inviting you to imagine your preferred future

I listen attentively to

  • your resources
  • your preferred future and what happens as a result
  • little hints of change
  • signs of progress
  • your objectives

And where do we go from there?

  • I ask you what will be different once you have reached your goals and what you need to do a first small step
  • I assume that as a matter of principle, miracles cannot be avoided. Thus: How will you notice tomorrow that things are different and have started moving?
  • And what else?

Brief Coaching

Brief Coaching is not different from Solution Focused Coaching. It is rather a term describing pointedly the effect a Solution Focus has on many subjects and issues. The solution, which has not necessarily something to do with the problem, can be found very quickly, and there is no need for a coaching process stretching itself over many months.

Schema Coaching

Sometimes it is worth taking a short break. Whenever you feel it really hard to implement your defined steps and solutions in your daily professional environment or get a sensation of total blockage when it comes to implementing your preferred future, when your imagination resists any thought of solution, we may want look a little more closely with the help of Schema Coaching. When we understand, where behavior patterns we consider no longer useful come from, it is much easier stop and change them.

Know-How

If you wish, I can certainly also share with you my own experience as an executive. I can offer you more than 20 years of leadership learning, from the motivation of teams and accompanying change processes to the successful promotion of own positions in complex matrix organisations.

However, you will be surprised how much solution and implementation power is right inside you. Maybe you just need to dig it out again a little bit.
